My name is Bo, and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. I am twenty-two, and am originally from Passau, Germany. I spent most of my childhood growing up in Dubai, UAE, but have also spent some time in Turkey, and the United States. In 2018, I graduated with my Baking and Pastry Associates from the Culinary Institute of America, and am now attending Cornell University for Hotel Administration.
I am passionate about local food, food sovereignty, and equity, and have spent the past few years working in local food organisations and farm-to-fork restaurants. I also love kayaking, fermenting, and baking, especially using seasonal produce and local grains.
